T-Ball

Last night Aidan had his first night of T-Ball. I was hoping that it wouldn't be as painful as it was the year before- boy was I wrong! I love my son and really think it's great that there is something for him to participate in. I am just curious why some parent's feel the need to compliment their child's failures.

Nick and I brought our chairs and sat there watching the whole thing unfold. It made me kind of feel like a terrible person when I was the only parent that told their child to stop twirling and rolling on the ground. (No, he wasn't the only kid doing it either...) I am not expecting all-stars or anything even close... but encouraging the kids to not twirl around and lay on the ground are realistic expectations. Oh, well... at least Aidan had fun.
