We spent like three hours assembling it last night, and we are pretty proud of how it turned out.
Side note, before we set up the hoop Aidan and his friend next door were playing in the cul de sac and Aidan totally biff-ed it and slid across the pavement. I sat back and wanted to see if he would cry. To my total surprise, he popped right back up and was off. He has two really skinned knees and two skinned hands. I was so proud of how tough he was! (We cleaned them up later when we got into the house and got some dis-infectent on them then.)
Back to the story, Aidan is so excited that the hoop comes down to 8 ft. He can make baskets at that height. He spent 45 min today shooting hoops and I would have to say that maybe a fourth of his shots make it in. I am just happy that we got him excited about practicing basketball! :)
