I can imagine that the title of this post is slightly confusing. There were not pigs at Olive Garden (well unless you count me.) Friday was a crazy day. We started off with a Kindergarten playdate at the school. Aidan was one of the first kids there (and was pretty mad that we were 5 min late!) and was the last kid to leave. (Can we say life of the party.) We had to run a few errands after that, ran mailbox keys up to our renter in St. Paul, and then went to Blaine to visit Aidan's godmother- Liz- and her daughter, Hannah. We took the kiddos out to eat to Olive Garden. We had to wait a good 30 min for our table and both kids were very well behaved! (Hannah kept getting mad that it wasn't our turn to go inside yet.) They finally just sat on a bench and waited. It was nice to catch up!
Saturday morning my plans changed for the weekend. The boys were originally going to go down to the farm so Aidan could practice showing his pigs for the fair. Nick had talked to a few of his friends though and Johny Holm was playing a street dance down by Nick's hometown and I got talked into tagging along for the concert. (When my original plan was to stay home and clean.) Nick's friend, Chad, was in town from Arizona- it was nice for Nick to see him. (We hadn't seen him since our wedding.)
Aidan did a great job practicing showing his pigs. They are getting big and he still does a great job controlling them. Only 2 more weeks until he needs to be able to show them.
