Backyard Update

So, since the trees came down and the wall has been put in we have been struggling with two problems. The first was that our landscaping rocks had been dispersed around our entire hill and needed to be raked out, cleaned off, and returned to the landscaping around the house. The second problem had just been our general lack of time to work on the project when it wasn't raining or 90 degrees out.

That being said we finally got some landscaping done on the hill in the backyard. We seeded crown vetch (the purple flowers you see on the side of the highway) and various wild flowers in the middle section of our yard since it is better at preventing erosion and is virtually maintenance free! The seed was then covered with a straw mat to keep the moisture in the soil and seeds to encourage growth. So, after a long day of work we are 1/3 finished with our backyard landscaping. :)
