End of September

I cannot believe we are already at the end of September. Tomorrow, Nick and I will have been married 4 months ago- which seems like yesterday. Aidan is in his fourth week of school- before I know it he will be done!

Life has continued to be busy and full of adventure. Friday I subbed for the first time this year. I had 5th graders, and they were wonderful- It was a fun day! After school Aidan and I went out to uncle Jeff's football game at Holy Angels. We then headed to my parents house and had dinner with my grandparents, parents, aunts, and uncles. On the way from the football game to my parents house, Aidan screamed out of pain. He was grabbing his ears and just bawling. After some Tylenol and some hugs, he was fine- it was just the beginning of the sickness he would have all weekend. Friday night, Nick and I went out with some of our friends- it was fun to see all of our friends that we haven't seen in a long time! :)

Saturday brought more sickness for Aidan. We ended up deciding to leave Aidan with grandma and grandpa instead of bringing him to the Gopher's game because of how sick he was. He had a great night snuggling and chilling with grandma while we were at the game. Nick and I had an extra ticket, so we brought my brother Jeff. Jeff had so much fun at the game!

Sunday Nick went to recruit for basketball and then we chilled and watched football for most of the day. My mom came over and helped me with my organization project for awhile. (which is still a work in progress... but getting better.) Aidan still wasn't feeling very well.

Monday morning starting with Aidan coughing himself to gaging... which lead to puking. I decided that sending him to school probably wasn't a good idea, especially since they were making applesauce as a class and he didn't need to share his germs. Aidan chilled at home all day and was able to start to get better. I had already had a chiropractor appointment scheduled- just for the monthly visit. We went and she checked his ears for me and it was discovered that Aidan had a double ear infection. Which we kind of already thought was the case. She also rubbed out his lymph nods in his neck to get those antibodies going. We then came home and hydrogen peroxided his ears, put essential oil drops in, and nebbed Aidan. We then watched the Packers lose to the Bears- which was very upsetting to me! On a positive note- I won my fantasy game! :)

This morning Aidan woke up and you could tell that he felt much better! He took a super quick shower (He is pokey- so this is rare), ate breakfast quickly, and was able to do his nebs before school again. He took his acidophiles and vitamins and off to school he went. (I haven't been called yet, so I assume he is doing fine today!)

Sorry I don't have any pictures today- my goal is to get Aidan singing "Dynomite" on video and get that up- since he sings it all the time and gets mad if you join in! :)
