One Year!

This post is a few days late- but we've been busy! Nick and I celebrated our 1-year anniversary on May 29th. It was another beautiful May 29th!

Here is us one year ago on our wedding day. It was such a beautiful day! We had wonderful weather and everything went as well as it could!

Over the last year, we have had a lot happen to us as a family:

Aidan started Kindergarten, played in his first basketball game, and wrestled his first matches.

To our surprise, we found out in November that we are expecting baby #2.

We had our first holidays as a family.

Nick, Aidan and I went on several long- weekend trips. (Chicago, Wisconsin Dells, and California.)

We found out our new baby would be a little lady.

Nick and I celebrated our anniversary by going to brunch at my parents house (since my uncle was in town) and then leaving Aidan there. We went to Hot Mama in Edina to get me a Belly Bandit for post baby on our way to one of Nick's co-worker's house. His co-worker had a bunch of raspberry plants so we get a few and brought them to our house. I watch Nick put them into the lawn. (I would say I helped, but that wouldn't be true at all!) We then went to Benihana for dinner. It was Nick's first time being there and he was very skeptical. IT WAS DELICIOUS and we both left happy- and full! Then we went and saw The Hangover 2. It was a nice little anniversary for us!
