I am a horrible blogger as of late. Sorry! This whole "making a baby" thing is kind of wearing. (It has also made me forget my camera at every event we have gone to- and blogs are way less fun without pictures....)
So, here is our update-
Aidan now has glasses. It was discovered that he has an "out turn" on his left eye. He got his glasses on April 1st. We went back into the eye doctor on May 2nd and found out that he will need to wear a patch on his good eye for 2 hours everyday until his next appointment on July 1st. We call it his pirate patch and he isn't a huge fan- but he does really well with it.
We have hosted a tournament and a half in the last month. We had one big tournament the third weekend in April- it was crazy busy, but we had a ton of GREAT helpers! We host our final tournament of the year this weekend. So tomorrow I get to go to Costco to get my stock pile for the concession stand.
Nick has started coaching. He has a team of Freshmen and I think he is really enjoying coaching them this season so far. He has been busy at work and busy with basketball. I feel like I barely see him! Oh well- this is why we are happy the baby isn't due during the basketball season!
I have been super busy as well. I have been in charge of our tournament prep. I get all the errands ran prior to the tournament, make all the Costco runs, and pack us all up and get everything to the venue. Nick is way to busy at work to do much- so it has become my day job to keep the Fury running. :) I have also been building our little girl. She has gotten much stronger and is a hard kicker. It is nice to be able to feel her every day and know she is growing away in there. I had my 1 hour glucose test this week. Other than never wanting to drink orange Gateraid ever again, it was pretty painless. (well if you don't count them needed to take blood.) Hopefully, everything comes back okay.
We started Easter weekend at Nick's parent's house down by Rochester. They had their annual showpig sale and it went well. We woke up Easter morning at our house and Aidan got to find his Easter Bunny booty. We then attended church at our church here and went to my parent's house for Easter Dinner. It was nice to be able to see both families. I realized, after the day was over, that I didn't get a picture of us on Easter (just like Christmas). I am hoping that this little girl helps me to remember to take pictures of us once she is here!
We spent last weekend at Wisconsin Dells. Nick wanted to attend a coaching clinic there and we came along for the weekend. It was nice because the Peper family also joined for the weekend. Allison and I were worn out after the weekend of three kids and no dads to back us up- but it was fun. I will hopefully find some pictures on my phone to add to this. (Again- horrible mom.)
I will make it my goal to update more frequently (with pictures). I promise, things will get less chaotic and more exciting all at the same time soon. :)
