Forth of July

This years Forth of July weekend was a good time for us.
Nick and I started our weekend on Friday by going to the Twins game with someone Nick's company does business with. We got to sit in the Legends Club, which was pretty sweet!

Saturday we watched the guys work on our retaining walls and patio throughout the morning. We had a picnic to go to later that day, so I made some brownies and rice krispie bars with Aidan while Nick and my brothers moved some wood out of the way of the workers. We left for Kristin's parent's house for a picnic there. It was a good time, Nick had fun playing beer darts. (and has literally been raving about them since) At about 7, we walked up to the Chanhassen City Center, for the annual street dance. We were able to hang out with many friends and family that were also there. It was a great time!

Sunday we slept in before we started our fun. We went to the Home Depot to get some grass seed, fertilizer, etc for the backyard. We then went to my parents house and ate some lunch before heading up to the forth of July parade in Chanhassen. It was sub-par this year, which was disappointing. We had our families over for some grilled out food and headed out to fireworks in Chanhassen. Nick complained about the mesquites, but the fireworks were great! We came back afterward and started a fire in our new pit and let Aidan do some sparklers.

Monday we spent cleaning out Nicks condo. We finally got a renter for the condo and she signed a 4-year lease! So, we are happy to have that taken care of!
